About Speaker
Susan Lee
Susan Lee grew up in the Korean-American church in Chicago and Baltimore as a pastor’s kid. During her years in Boston, where she studied Modern Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard College and theology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, she eventually became a part of InterVarsity Fellowship. She spent two years in Beirut with InterVarsity serving as staff to Lebanese students and is now back in Chicago working on a doctorate in Islamic Studies at the University of Chicago. She is a founder of Ezemiah, a ministry that helps to train Korean diaspora youth to serve in the rural churches of Korea and the under-resourced churches of their local diaspora cities through teaching children God’s Word.
